A few words about the Bethel Methodist denomination:
What we believe:
The Bethel Methodist Church espouses all that is truly Christian, including personal salvation by the atoning death of Jesus Christ through faith alone, and full confidence in the Holy Scriptures as the inspired Word of God.
About our Church Governance:
The Bethel Methodist Church is an independent denomination of churches in Robinson (Waco), Port Neches (Beaumont) , Bulverde /New Braunsfels (San Antonio) , Colleyville (Dallas/Ft. Worth) and Denton (Mission church). Our denomination is not affiliated with the United Methodist church or the National Council of churches.
We are congregational in government and connectional in our fellowship with our four other denominational churches and our denominational leadership. All local churches own their own property. call their own ministers, elect their own officers, boards and committees and handle their own affairs. As a denomination, local churches cooperate to hold annual conferences, camps, retreats, and other meetings to enjoy preaching, teaching, fellowship and accomplish common objectives. They also support denominational activities financially with a small portion of locally-collected freewill offerings.
